    Telneting to a remote computer

In order to telnet to a remote computer, you need: the telnet software on your local system, and the address of the remote computer.

Moving through a catalog will require using the commands shown at the bottom of the window; even though you are using a Windows (i.e. point-and-click-with-the-mouse interface) telnet application to connect to a remote system, once connected you have to use the commands required by the remote system. So in order to see the rest of the list of branches where a book might be available, you can't scroll down to see more of the document, you have to hit the space bar, as instructed by the commands listed at the bottom, to move to the next screen.
