- You use the name of the list. This will have the form of
listname@host.
Remember that for BITNET lists where you have had to use the gateway to subscribe, you will also have to use the gateway to send messages. You will need to change the form of the address
from:
listname@host.bitnet
to:
listname%host@cunyvm.cuny.edu - What needs some care is sending messages to the list by using a reply
function in your email software. Make sure that your reply IS going to the
list rather than to the individual who sent the message.
