    Navigation Aids

    Buttons

At minimum, every page in a WWW site should have a link to its home page, or at least to a submenu within the site. Button bars are used to place fixed links between a series of pages to bind them into a document. Beware of using icons in place of text buttons, as they are seldom unambiguous. If icons are used they should also have a text option in case users have turned off their graphics to speed up access
