Guidelines

Please note that due to funding requirements to register for this programme you must be:

  • resident in England
  • over 16 years old

Face to Face Sessions and Registration

If you interested in attending a face to face session held in Manchester then please ring 0161 273 4414 for more information and to book a place. It would be useful to complete the following online registration form in preparation for the face to face class.

We are currently offering Drop-in sessions where a GO tutor will be on hand to answer questions, assist students and lead taught sessions. All students are welcome to come to the Drop-in session and use the computer facilities to progress through any of the GO courses.

Registration

To register, please complete all sections of the registration form unless otherwise stated. We need your contact details and some background information so that we have complete records to show to our funders if requested. Please note that all information you provide is in strictest confidence and is held on a secure database for reporting purposes only.

After each section, press the 'next' button to go to the next section of the form. If you haven't filled in all the compulsory fields the form will return and highlight with orange arrows and bold text any unanswered questions.

By completing this form you will become a student of City College Manchester.

The name that you enter in section one will be used on the certificate you receive on completion of a course.

To Begin Registration

We apologise for the length of the Registration, which is necessary due to funding arrangements. The first page one of two long pages, the rest generally have one question per page.

When you have Finished the Registration Form
Press submit to send your information electronically to Getting Online.

On receipt we print out the information and post the form to you for confirmation and signature.

When we receive your signed form, we send out (by email) information on how to get started and details of introductory face to face sessions you may wish to attend.
