What is Getting Online?

Getting Online is a free programme of courses delivered via the World Wide Web. It is designed to take participants effortlessly through all aspects of the Internet. You can learn at your own pace, and in any location.

Who runs Getting Online?

Getting Online is delivered by IDEA (Innovation in Digital and Electronic Art) and supported by the European Social Fund and Further Education Funding Council.

Can anyone enrol?

To be eligible, learners must be resident in England and aged 16 or over. This is a requirement of our current funding arrangement.

What do I need?

All you need is access to a Macintosh or PC computer that has an Internet connection, and an email account. It is as simple as that!

When you register we will provide a Student Identification Number (ID), which enables you to access the course content and check your progress.
